So what's Heather up to this fall? Busy writing for Hydepark Theater's Fronterafest 2008- a collaboration with Austin playwright Jason Tremblay, putting final touches on her book/play "Cantaloupe and A Quarter Moon" for spring production, and in much writing/rehearsal with her side project, a little jazzy thing. The August 11th show at Genuine Joe's will feature Heather as well as the solo acoustic styling's of Ray Prim of Primm and Jim Hemphill of the Billy Eli Band. Be sure to come by from 8-10pm for fine tunes and great coffee!

The August 2nd Flipnotics show will feature Kevin McCarthy and Paul Rutherford (a la The Fighting Brother's McCarthy) as special guests. Be sure to come by at 10pm for this special set!

No Diamond Smugglers or Dung Beatles tunes tonight but plenty of good stuff regardless...

August will find Heather at Genuine Joe's Coffee House, Flipnotics, and Hole In The Wall. September will find her at Cheapo Discs for an acoustic instore performance.

Also coming soon is a jazzy new side project featuring torch songs for lovers and leavers that will showcase a sassy chanteuse side of Heather previously reserved for the studio. Oh la la!
